Ulysess Ortiz Art Gallery
My handmade photographic mosaics, three levels of art learning, and a place for other artists to share their own creations.
Why I created this place
Art has given me another way to tell stories, especially the ones that words alone cannot fully capture.
My journey into mosaic art began with photographs, memories, and the desire to turn something deeply personal into something people could see and feel. My handmade mosaic, Inheritance of Light, carries pieces of family, identity, and the moments that make us who we are.
But I didn't want to create a gallery that only displayed my own work.
I wanted to open that door for others, too.
That's why this gallery is also home to a three-level art school, with lessons exploring manga, comics, and cartoon art, as well as a place where other artists can share their creations and tell their own stories.
I created this space because I believe art deserves to be discovered, encouraged, and shared. Whether you come to appreciate a piece of artwork, learn something new, or find the courage to share your own creation, I hope you feel welcome here.
