ULY WIRE
Independent news from Orange County to the wider world, helping people look beyond headlines and understand what matters.
Why I created this place
I created ULY WIRE because I wanted people to have a place where they could understand the world around them, not simply scroll past another headline.
News affects our families, neighborhoods, opportunities, and the decisions we make. What happens close to home matters just as much as what happens across the country or around the world.
ULY WIRE is my independent digital news platform, bringing together coverage of Orange County, California, the United States, and international developments. Visitors can explore stories and broader context, while members have additional ways to follow topics, save reporting, and understand how events connect.
I wanted to create something that respects people's curiosity and helps make complicated stories easier to follow.
Because being informed isn't just about knowing what happened. It's about understanding why it matters.
